Supervising Attorney, DC Immigration
Victoria Maqueda is a Supervising Attorney with Ayuda’s D.C. Immigration program. Victoria supervises other attorneys, legal assistants, and paralegals while carrying her own caseload of humanitarian and family-based immigration remedies. Prior to becoming a Supervising Attorney, Victoria was a Staff Attorney and intern at Ayuda.
Between her two stints at Ayuda, Victoria completed a one-year Fellowship with the Santa Fe Dreamers Project in Santa Fe, NM where she represented clients in a wide variety of immigration relief and served recent immigrants at a for-profit immigration detention center in rural New Mexico.
Victoria received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her bachelors in Spanish and Political Science magna cum laude from Rutgers University. She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Victoria is a native Spanish speaker and proud daughter of Argentine immigrants
