Ana Plaza is the Director of Social Services at Ayuda. She is a passionate advocate for social justice issues and supporting the immigrant community. In her role, she is responsible for the programmatic and managerial aspects of the Social Services team, which provides holistic and trauma-informed services including culturally specific case management and mental health therapy to immigrants’ survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking among other common crimes in the DMV area.   

Ana is originally from Venezuela where she obtained a degree in Education and spent more than 15 years in the field. Previous to starting her job at Ayuda she accrued her experience in the social services field at Family Services, Inc and EveryMind giving direct services to the immigrant community and creating opportunities to bring new services throughout the Washington DC Capital area.  

Ayuda's Washington, D.C. office has moved!

Ayuda is excited to announce that as of Tuesday, September 1, 2021 we have a NEW DC office! Ayuda will no longer be operating out of our 6925B Willow St NW nor our 1413 K St. NW offices.

Our new Washington, D.C. office is located at 1990 K Street NW, Suite 500 Washington, DC 20006.
